Summerlicious
Taste some of the diverse cuisine Toronto has to offer from July 3 to July 26, 2015. Summerlicious features more than 210 top restaurants offering three-course prix fixe lunch and dinner menus at great price points. This year in celebration of the Toronto Games, Summerlicious 2015 will feature five culinary events. The first A Culinary Celebration of Canada will be held at Toronto’s most prestigious residence Casaloma. Stroll through the picturesque gardens of our local castle while tasting a variety of traditionally Canadian dishes highlighting local and seasonal Ontario products and listening to live musical entertainment.
TORONTO 2015 Pan Am /Parapan Am Games
The Toronto 2015 Games are the world’s third largest international multi-sport events; they are only surpassed in size and scope by the Olympic Summer Games and the Asian Games. Toronto is the host city for 2015 and the Pan Am Games will be held from July 10th to 26th and the Parapan Am Games will follow from August 7th to 15th. Check out the 7,000 athletes from across Latin America, South America, the Caribbean and North America who will put their years of intense training, perseverance and sacrifice to the test in world-class competition in 36 Pan Am sports and 15 Parapan Am sports.
Harbourfront Centre and Molson Amphitheatre
Lake Ontario lends acoustic support for those performing outdoors at these venues. Harbourfront Centre offers Dancing on the Pier, Magnetic Beats and Summer Music in the Garden providing a wide range of music and dance options to entertain you. Since it opened in 1995, the Molson Amphitheatre has welcomed millions of concert goers to see their favourite acts perform. Summer 2015 has a stellar line up including Canadian bands The Tragically Hip and Blue Rodeo and Toronto’s own Drake, headlining OVO Fest from August 1st to 3rd.
