Downtown West is Toronto’s most lively neighborhood. It’s also home to two of our properties offering furnished rentals 20 Blue Jays Way and 300 Front Street West. These properties offer you easy access to Toronto’s Entertainment and Financial Districts, making it possible to live, work and play in this urban neighborhood.

For entertainment, you’ll find the Royal Alexandra and Princess of Wales theatres on King Street. Both host world-class musicals such as Kinky Boots and Phantom of the Opera. Just to the east is Roy Thompson Hall, home of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra as well as visiting musicians. The world famous Second City comedy club is located right on Blue Jays Way. For more casual viewing, the Scotiabank Theatre at Richmond and John is a multi-screen theater complex which features digital sound, stadium seating and a licensed lounge.

Sports fans staying in Downtown West are within walking distance of the Air Canada Centre, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and the Toronto Raptors (NBA). Our properties are just across the street from the Rogers Centre, home to the Toronto Blue Jays (MLB) and Toronto Argonaut (CFL) sports teams. Adjacent to the Rogers Centre on Bremner, you’ll also find Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, the CN Tower and Roundhouse Park, home to Steam Whistle Brewing and the Toronto Railroad Museum.

 

 

 

Before or after an event in Downtown West, you can select from a vast array of trendy bars, restaurants and coffee shops that are prolific in our neighborhood. A stretch of favorites can be found along King Street, west of Spadina and include a few that appear on Toronto Life’s 2015 list like Buca, Wilbur Mexicana and Portland Variety. Toronto’s underground PATH walkway is 10 kilometers long and is lined with retail shops, restaurants and other services. From our properties, the closest PATH access is from the CBC building at 250 Front Street and it winds its way underground along almost 100 buildings, with many exit points in the heart of the Financial District.
